The BPA Family!

A very warm welcome to all our present and prospective parents.  We are committed to working with the parents and carers of our students and always welcome your support, communication, feedback and participation. If you are a parent of a student currently at BPA, we would like to remind you of the open nature and the value we place on parental and student feedback.  On this page you will find all the ways we have established for you to communicate with us to support the academic journey of your son/daughter.

Meet the Principal/Leadership Team

The Principal has a parent drop-in every Wednesday from 10 a.m. -12 p.m.  Feel free to come and share your feedback and ideas.  We look forward to meeting you.  No appointment is necessary although you may have to wait to be seen depending on how many parents turn up on the day.  However you will be seen by the Principal or a member of the SLT.

Furthermore if Wednesdays are not suitable due to work or other committments feel free to contact reception and we will endeavour to book an appointment within three days at a time convenient to you.  Please note if it is a safety or welfare issue or a matter of serious concern all you have to do is come to reception and a senior member of staff will be called to see you as soon as practically possible.

Contacting Staff

All staff email addresses are available on this site from the "staff" link above. All the staff welcome feedback on correspondence and actively engaged parents.  Please feel free to email staff if you have a query, a concern or a success story to share.  Staff will aim to answer any correspondence within 2 days and not longer than 3 days where appropriate.  We welcome this communication between staff and parents/carers.  Success at BPA is a team effort.

Parent and Information Evenings

We would ask that you attend all Parents’ and information evenings so we can give you a full update of the progress of your child.  However, if you have a concern about progress, don’t wait! Please feel free to contact us as outlined above.

Friends of Burnham Park Academy

We have an active and growing Parent Teacher Association.  The ‘Friends of Burnham Park’ PTA is starting to contribute enormously to the life of the school by organising activities such as a wine and cheese evening and a quiz night.  They have also represented the Academy at the Burnham Donkey Derby and the Burnham Carnival. Please contact Mrs Mulhern if you would like to be a member.  To send an email to Mrs Mulhern please click here
