Fixed term contract for 1 year with potential for further extension

Required for January 2016

Pay range: Grade 4 £22,591 - £24,458 pro rata based on 39 weeks plus Annual Leave allowance

 

We are seeking to appoint a Behaviour Support Officer from January 2016, on the basis of a fixed term contract for 1 year, who will work with teaching and pastoral staff to support and address the needs of students with behavioural difficulties.  You will coach and mentor students in small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis to put in place interventions that will help them to overcome barriers to achieving their full potential both academically and socially.  You will develop positive working relationships with parents and carers of students to engage them in supporting development and progress.  Key to the role will be working with external agencies and contacts to ensure that support is effectively managed and coordinated.
